Life cycle analysis flax and linen production – Wad van Waarde
Within the Wad van Waarde project, Ecoras is working on mapping the environmental impact (LCA) of flax and linen production. Textiles made from linen will be used as a natural material (and naturally biodegradable) in the manufacture of more sustainable product alternatives in/around the Wadden Sea. As part of this project, Ecoras is conducting an exploratory life cycle assessment (LCA) for flax & linen production in the Netherlands. In doing so, we not only make use of already existing knowledge & literature, but also supplement it with new (local) data. Curious? Contact us to learn more about this project!
